Cheap Blender And Mini Blender

Having suffered a number of health issues earlier in my life I have taken to taking extra care of myself come my 30's and early 40's. Taking supplements is easy but some of the products need to be mixed with water or juice, unfortunately they don't blend well - often clumping, sticking to the spoon or other utensils, and leaving unsavory lumps of undiluted product in the liquid. This personal size blender is a godsend, no lumps, easy to clean after drinking right out of the container. I don't have any use for the travel top but it is a nice feature. BTW this machine crushes ice better than my other much larger small food blender. I use this every day! I love making smoothies, and this makes it such a breeze.

I absolutely love this small smoothie blender! I've only had it for five days and made three smoothies, but I think that's more smoothies than I've ever made in my life. It's so easy! When I got the small personal blender, I just went to the store and bought a bunch of fruit I liked (I normally don't eat much fruit). I just throw it in! 1 whole banana, some rice milk, two or three strawberries, some grapes, three ice cubes, and today I added some flaxseed oil. It's great! I haven't experienced any of the problems that other people have spoken about. Motor seems really strong, it chops the ice very well. I put in whole cubes. I love how fast it is to make and because it's so easy, I'm eating a lot more fruit! I did make the mistake of putting my lid in the dishwasher. It developed a tiny crack which became bigger. Since it is still under warranty, Hamilton Beach is sending another one for $3.99.

I also load my smoothies with tons of stuff, I've started using spinach as well. The mini blender mixes everything really well. I've found it helpful to do a short little pulse if things get stuck. I use my Hamilton Beach 51101 blender every day, and have done so for several years now. Pulsing is, in my opinion, the single best way to make a smoothie, for certain. I make smoothies using frozen fruit and vegetables every time, the trick is, cut up the fruit a bit, so the blades have a chance to blend, I cut a frozen strawberry into two pieces, and I chop up a celery stalk and a half an apple into smaller pieces before blending. I never ask it to blend ice, though. Perhaps that is why my blenders last so long, approximately 2 years with everyday use. I also just took this blender on an eight-week road trip, camping all the way. It did miraculously well! I was able to have fresh, healthy drinks anywhere we were hooked up to power. It was a Godsend. While on the road, I had a chance to use a Magic Bullet. It did ice very well, and if ice was a real priority, I might get the Magic Bullet.
